If you have already begun the process, It is our pleasure to be able to assist you with one of the most spectacular events in your life, your class reunion, whether it be your 5th, 10th or 40th "The Associated Alumni of M L King is here for you. We will gladly assist you and your team by providing network information, resources, connections and venues for you affair. If you would like, the association can contact classmates, coordinate and schedule special events prior to the reunion, coordinate and schedule all aspects of your reunion affair. All you have to do is have at least five members of your class listed as members of the Assoiated Alumn of M L King.
Grateful Seniors
With the COVID pandemic exceeding past its one year anniversary, the class of 2021 world wide is dealing with even deeper issues than the class before. As of the time of this article the class of 2021 has spent their entire year in virtual school. A school that wasn't planned aforehand. A new way with no ideas as to how to approach attendance, sports, testing, events and graduation and still be in compliance with the the CDC and have a "successful year" if there is such a thing at all under these circumstances. Every year The AAMLKHS puts out the call for our annual Senior Dues Sponsorship. Due to the pandemic quite a few of the seniors of our alma mater faced even deeper issues. some were now home watching younger sibling, some parents were not working, lost of loved ones, as well as the high increase in gun violence. It was the objective of the AAMLKHS to make the best of this totally uncool situation. The objective was to sponsor as many students as we could not matter circumstances the whole class if we could. In a matter of three weeks we have sponsored 10 seniors and counting. below are three of the letters received from very ggrateful seniors of the MArtin Luther King High School Class of 2021.

Reunion Unrivaled
The M L King High Class of 1979 whose tag is "Forever Shall We Shine" has no problem letting their light Shine.
This class boast of their togetherness and the fact that they have celebrated every milestone reunion since graduateing. After several tragedies hit the class between their 20 and 30 year reunions, they decided to get together every five years and to celebrate their decades birthdays together. At their thirty year reunion there were 157 in attendants. For the 40 year reunion there were 120 in attendance.

Dear Ms. Cynthia Hayward and “The Class of 1989”,
My name is Shane Carter from the Class of 2021 at Martin Luther King High. As alumnae you already know how I am proud to be an MLK Cougar. I have had a great high school experience before the pandemic. However, I have classmates and teachers and we are helping each other through these challenging times.
I can't express enough, my gratitude for your generosity. Your financial support is greatly appreciated in these hard economic times for my family. What you have done for me, I say thank you.
With support from my tribe which now includes you and the class of 1989 King Alumnus, I know that after finishing trade school I will be able to pay it forward and help others behind me.

Dear Mr. Troy Smith
I, Eamon Butts, am truly honored to be presented with the class dues scholarship. I have to thank Mr. Troy Smith of the Martin Luther King High School class of 1985, for bestowing upon me a chance to fulfill my dreams, and show the world that I can do great things. I don’t know if I'll ever get to shake the hand of the man who paid for and paved my way but I'm forever in your debt. You may already know my name is Samiya Sawyer, I just wanted to say thank you so much for awarding me with a scholarship for my senior class dues. It’s a big burden taken off my shoulders to not have to worry about it. I am truly grateful for the opportunity you have given me to create great memories during this very trying senior year.
